Enrichment Director – Job Description

The Enrichment Director reports directly to the Organization’s Education Director. The Enrichment Director’s main objectives are to develop new partnerships within the assigned territory with school and community organizations and to maintain pre-existing partnerships. The Enrichment Director assist in the recruitment of teachers to staff sites she/he is responsible for. In addition she/he provides ongoing support to site contacts and Rainbow Chefs teachers.

Responsibilities

– Effectively communicate Rainbow Chefs mission, values and benefits to prospective schools andcommunity organizations in person, by e-mail and phone.

– Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized ongoing support and assistance from the initial sales process through program implementation.

– Meet sales goals on a consistent basis.

– Help to design and implement new and creative sales strategies.

– Understand and keep up-to-date with ever-changing market trends.

– Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers.

– Helps recruit participants to the program, distributes registration and policy information as needed

– First contact with school representatives for registration maintenance and billing.

– Assist schools and community organizations with selecting appropriate curriculum/ classes

– Responsible for keeping the participant’s parents informed of classes/ events and camps

– Manages teachers needs; calendar, curriculum updates, support.

– Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance Rainbow Chefs offerings.

– Oversee Culinary teachers schedules, routines and requirements.

– Regularly reports to Education Director to ensure proper program delivery

Qualifications

– BA/BS degree preferred.

– Experience in teaching or working at a school site desired.

– 1-3 years of experience in sales a plus.

– Knowledge of CRM tools encouraged.

– Experience in educational sales and/or a related educational field a plus.

– Experience in the field of culinary arts a plus.

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

– Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

– Aptitude for meeting deadlines.

– Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals.

– Passion for bringing culinary arts programs into the classroom.

– Familiarity with school and community organizations.

Rainbow Chefs Teacher – Job Description

With our rapid expansion, we are looking for top performers to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated teacher with either a background in culinary arts or a passion for cooking. Rainbow Chefs teachers must be able to travel independently to an assigned school/community sites with all of their teaching materials. Rainbow Chefs provides it’s Instructors with ongoing comprehensive training on its core values and curriculum implementation to ensure consistency and uniformity. The Rainbow Chefs teacher reports to the Education Field Manager. This is a part time position primarily serving After School Programs and weekend Birthday parties. Fulltime Summer Camp opportunities will also be available.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, welcoming, and fun experience for children and their families.

Must be Confident leading a class and talking in front of Adults and Children.

Must be able to think on your feet, when the unexpected happens.

Must be disciplined and organized, comfortable with the Internet and have your own cell phone.

Must have access to a car to travel to the class sites.

Have a positive attitude and the ability to work and adapt to a highly dynamic, ever changing environment.

Engage and support children in learning culinary lessons.

Teach and role model Rainbow Chefs 7 core values.

Effectively teach appropriate curriculum provided by Rainbow Chefs.

Ensure and monitor the safety of children during all activities.

Move and transport equipment to and from classroom as necessary.

Commitment to work the duration of the enrichment contract

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, and or childhood education highly desirable, but not required (basic academic content knowledge of culinary arts and nutrition is mandatory).

1-3 years prior experience working with children desired.

Experience teaching and or facilitating enrichment programs is highly preferred.

1-3 years prior experience cooking and or teaching cooking classes preferred.

Passion for cooking, nutrition, and teaching children is mandatory.

Location

Looking for teachers in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego.
